The decorative and utility glass supplied under the “Desná” brand is made in the mountain town of the same name, a town which lies to the northeast of the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, close to the centre of costume jewellery production that is Jablonec nad Nisou. The company pays great attention to the quality of its products. Items from the “Desná” Collection have become the subject of illegal copying in recent years due to their aesthetic properties and popularity. That’s why every product sold is marked with a sandblasted logo featuring the inscription “Desná” and provided with a certificate of quality and authenticity. The credibility of originality is also witnessed in a special certificate issued by an independent institute, the Museum of Glass and Costume Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou, something that has accompanied new products since 2007.
